The Pelican Island Preservation Society (PIPS) is a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit, Citizen Support Organization (CSO) for the Pelican Island National Wildlife Refuge. Any funds raised by PIPS goes to support activities and projects at the refuge.

Current projects that PIPS is contributing to are efforts to stabilzed the erosion of Pelican Island itself. The PINWR folks are working on permitting for a project that will help protect the island from erosion from boat wakes, and will help to accrete sediments and expand the size of the island to the north. In the last century since the designation of Pelican Island as the nation's first National Wildlife Refuge, the island has eroded to less than half its original size.

Another major project that PIPS is currently supporting is a film production on the history of Pelican Island. This documentary entitled "The Story of Pelican Island", is being produced by a professional production company for presentation on PBS television. All the funds raised from the sale of any of these items helps support our efforts - Thank You!

To purchase any of our items, you can either use the printable "Merchadise Order Form" below to mail us your order with a check or money order. You can now also pay with you credit card or other electronic payment, using the secure PayPal online payment service! You do not need to have a PayPal account in order to purchase any items using this service, but if you do, you may use your PayPal account for payment too. To purchase items using the PayPal service, please click on the "Add to Cart" button under the specific item(s) you want to buy. You may select as many items as you want and then when you are ready to check out, just click on the "View Cart" button under the "Payment Options" below. All prices include tax and shipping. If you live locally, you may purchase our items directly at a discounted price. Please look for us at various local events, at our periodic public programs (please see our "News/Information..." page for information about our upcoming program), at the annual Pelican Island Wildlife Festival in March each year, or click here to send us an email to inquire about purchasing an item.

We also have several commemorative items available from the 2003 Pelican Island/National Wildlife Refuge System Centennial, including the USPS 37¢ Pelican Island NWR Commemorative stamp, issued at the centennial celebration in Sebastian, FL on March 14, 2003.

The form is in Adobe Acrobat format and requires the free Adobe Acrobat Reader program to open. Print the form, fill it out completely and mail it to the address on the form, with your payment.
