Pelican Island Day and Centennial Time Capsule Dedication

Pelican Island National Wildlife Refuge, Viewing Area

10:00 am ‚ 4:00 pm		Educational Stations on Bird Watching, Native Plants and Butterflies Bring the whole family for this special interactive day with educational activities for kids
1:00 pm		Pelican Island Centennial Time Capsule Unveiling, Dedication and Display Don't miss this unique historic moment to dedicate the Pelican Island and Archie Carr Time Capsule for the people of 2103
3:00 pm		Beginning Bird Watching Tour Butterfly Walk Native Plants Walk Meet at the associated stations along the Centennial Trail and join us for one of these free-guided tours.

• Tickets will be sold and boats will depart from the Yacht Club across from Riverview Park.
• Sebastian River Boat Tours
• Pelican Island Tour (1 hour)
• Tours sold on first come, first serve basis; $5/person
• Every 1/2 hour from 10:00 am ‚ 3:30 pm

Kayak Tours

Kayaks etc.

• Pelican Island Eco-tour (2 hours, weather dependent) --- $20/person
  10:00 am and 1:00 pm
• Indian River Lagoon Spoil Island Tours (1 hour) --- $10/person
  Every hour from 10:00 am ‚ 3:00 pm
• Free Kayaking Demonstrations
  All day from 10:00 am ‚ 4:00 pm

Bring your lawn chair and enjoy the tunes on the scenic Indian River Lagoon

10:30 am ‚ 11:30 am	Barry Brogan Singer and guitar picker performing a mixture of blues, ragtime, and folk times.
11:30 am ‚ 12:30 pm	Blue Eyed Monsters Band plays mixture of classic rock, reggae, and contemporary tunes. A great crowd pleaser!
12:30 pm ‚ 1:30 pm	Jazzmin Hot swing trio playing a mixture of contemporary and traditional jazzy standards. They are the ultimate in giving a "high energy" performance.
1:30 pm ‚ 2:15 pm	Doug Moss & Friends Local favorite guaranteed to put a smile on your face.
2:15 pm - 3:00 pm	Reso Kings Featuring Steve Rinker and Rich Mermer, this duo performs a mixture of acoustic and electric blues. They'll get your fingers snapping and your feet stomping.
3:00 pm ‚ 4:00 pm	Harp & Harmony This duo does it all, string harp, mouth harp, guitar, keyboards, and assorted percussion. Soothing sounds to put you in touch with the natural environment.
